In March 2018 we drove a composed winter line from Göteborg to Norway’s North Cape and the Lofoten, then south through Lapland to finish in Tällberg. Stages included Oslo, Tørvikbygd on the Hardangerfjord, Ålesund, Åre with a snowmobile morning in Ottsjö, Mosjøen, two nights in Reine, Tromsø, Honningsvåg with the escorted North Cape convoy, Kautokeino, Arjeplog, and Umeå. Character hotels such as Lysebu, Reine Rorbuer, Stora Hotellet, and Åkerblads set an unhurried rhythm, with navigation via our roadbook and offline maps while organisation stayed active in the background.
