We began in Muscat and drove through Oman’s wadis and mountains into the UAE for a quiet pause in Abu Dhabi, then crossed into Saudi Arabia for Al-Hofuf, Riyadh, and days in the dunes with a visit to Qasr al-Farid near Al-Ula. From Tabuk we continued to Jordan for two nights in Petra and time at the Dead Sea, then finished in Amman, the capital of Jordan.
