Preparation & inspection trip

The Colombia Challenge is a new one challenge on our calendar. Before we start in December 2022, we first carry out an inspection trip. During this inspection trip we look for the most beautiful route, we determine in which hotels we will spend the night and we see which excursions we will include in the eventual Colombia Challenge.

The route

We start in Cartagena, Colombia. A historic city well worth a visit. Here your own car is ready for an adventure through Colombia in particular. We trek through the Farallones de Cali National Park and visit cities such as Cali, Medellín and Bogota. In the southeast of Colombia we go in search of the primeval forests of the Amazon region.

Then we pick up the famous Pan Americana and head south. We visit the capital of Ecuador, Quito and drive through the unknown north of Peru to the culinary capital of South America, Lima. From Lima your car will be shipped back to Rotterdam. It is possible to extend this Challenge with The Amazon Challenge . This starts 5 days later in Lima.
