Covid-19
Our biggest Challenge for the upcoming months
Covid-19 keeps writing headlines. An end is not yet in sight and this will have consequences for the preparation and implementation of the Challenges in 2020 and 2021.
We follow all the news and government information and specifically look at the countries’ policies regarding the virus.
To be clear, all scheduled trips are going ahead at the moment– at this moment we do not see any reason to cancel one of the events. Nevertheless we will be forced to postpone several of our events.
The first Challenge on the calendar is the first stage of The Europe Challenge, starting 3oth of May. Unfortunately we are forced to postpone this Challenge to later in the year. To the 3rd of October until the 9th of October 2020.
As for inspection trips, the inspection trip of The World Challenge Stage 7 is currently on hold. This too will be moved to later in 2020.
Also the The Korea Challenge, planned to start on the 27th of June – will be postponed to the 19th of June 2021.
Messages from China
In China, it seems to be moving back to normal day-to-day operations. Right now it seems daily life is starting up again in China. We have a planned Challenge for Land Rover in China, Turkmenistan, Azerbeidzjan, Georgia and Turkey. It seems this event will continue on the planned dates. Scheduled for July and August.
